Responsibilities:

• Perform structural maintenance on aircraft components and systems
• Inspect and repair aircraft structures, including fuselage, wings, and empennage
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify cracks, corrosion, and other defects
• Fabricate and install structural components using welding, bonding, and other techniques
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or similar role
• Secret clearance required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural maintenance procedures
• Proficient in NDT techniques (e.g., dye penetrant, magnetic particle)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on aircraft at Beale Air Force Base
• Knowledge of specific aircraft types maintained at Beale AFB
• Previous experience with Secret clearance projects
