Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aerospace projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural repairs and modifications on aircraft and other aerospace vehicles
• Conduct inspections and assessments of aircraft structures to identify damage or wear
• Fabricate and install structural components using hand tools and power tools
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical orders
• Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to ensure the safety and airworthiness of aircraft
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and materials used
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or related field
• Secret clearance required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
• Strong understanding of aircraft structures and materials
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on military aircraft
• Knowledge of FAA and DoD regulations
• Certification as an aircraft structures mechanic
