Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aerospace projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections and maintenance on aircraft components
• Repair and replace aircraft structures, including wings, fuselage, and empennage
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify material flaws and weaknesses
• Fabricate and install structural components using welding, bonding, and other techniques
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and parts used
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or similar role
• Experience with aircraft structural maintenance and repair
• Proficiency in NDT techniques (e.g., ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant)
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural materials and processes
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional clearances (e.g., Top Secret, TS/SCI)
• Experience working on specific aircraft types (e.g., B-52, KC-10, U-2)
• Certification in advanced welding or fabrication techniques
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance management systems (AMMS)
