Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aircraft maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural repairs and modifications on aircraft airframes, including composite and metallic structures.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of aircraft structural components to identify damage or wear.
• Fabricate and install structural components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of repair tasks.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft structural maintenance.
• Secret clearance required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural principles and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and climbing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on specific aircraft types (e.g., B-52, KC-10, etc.).
• Additional certifications or training in aircraft maintenance.
• Previous military or government contracting experience.
