DevSecOps Engineer (Top Secret)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support a major federal modernization program located in Huntsville, AL. The DevSecOps Engineer will drive secure CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure delivery, and DevSecOps best practices across AWS and hybrid environments supporting mission-critical applications.

DevSecOps Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, security scanning, and deployments
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies
• Integrate security controls, compliance validations, and automated vulnerability scanning within deployment pipelines
• Support cloud and hybrid environment provisioning, monitoring, logging, and release activities
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, data, and product teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and improve automation processes

DevSecOps Engineer Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD engineering, secure automation, or related disciplines
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS environments
• Knowledge of secure software development practices, automated security scanning, and compliance-focused deployments
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Bachelor's degree required
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance required

DevSecOps Engineer Compensation:

• Salary Range: $150,000 - $190,000 (dependent upon experience)
