Title: Spanish On-Site Interpreter

Location: Various FEMA hub locations around Florida Panhandle – Pensacola, Destin, etc.

Position Description:

Under the direction of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), this position will provide on-site interpretation and translation for the federally supported response and recovery Hurricane Isaias operation in Florida. Support will be on-call as needed by the customer.

Minimum Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident
• Must possess language skills in target language and English of 3+ on ILR scale in Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening.
• Must reside within 50 miles of duty location and provide own transportation to assignment location.
• Must be available for on-call assignments 7 days a week in shifts from 2 hours up to 12 hours.
• Must be willing to transfer assignment locations as needed within 50-mile radius at discretion of the customer.
