Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aerospace maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and aerospace components.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve structural issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop and implement repair procedures.
• Ensure all work complies with FAA, DoD, and Air Force regulations and standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and inspections.
• Participate in continuous training and professional development programs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft structural maintenance, preferably on military aircraft.
• Secret clearance required; ability to obtain clearance if not already possessed.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural systems and materials.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specific aircraft types (e.g., B-52, KC-10, U-2, etc.)
• Knowledge of composite materials and advanced manufacturing techniques.
• Certification in aircraft structural maintenance (e.g., FAA A&P license).
