Full Stack Developer
Quantico, VA (On-site) | Full-time | Active Top Secret clearance required
About the Role
M&S Consulting is hiring a senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and deploy a cloud-based, modular, role-aware platform. You will work independently across the front end and back end, own features end to end, and contribute to technical design decisions rather than simply executing predefined stories.
What You'll Do
- Build responsive, component-driven React applications, including role-based UI rendering, dynamic forms, and notification interfaces
- Design and build containerized services on AWS Fargate and develop RESTful APIs
- Model and query relational data in Aurora PostgreSQL, and use DynamoDB for audit and event data
- Implement API design and routing patterns using internal ALB routing and AppConfig-driven configuration
- Build event-driven integrations with EventBridge and SQS
- Implement secure data handling with S3 and KMS encryption, Directory Service, and IAM-based role-based access control across multiple user roles
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests and work within an established CI/CD pipeline
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI and a CI polygraph if required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
- 8+ years of full stack development experience
- Experience delivering on AWS GovCloud, including infrastructure as code (CloudFormation and/or CDK), CI/CD, and automated testing
- Secure development practices consistent with NIST 800-53 controls (encryption in transit and at rest, centralized logging, and observability via CloudWatch)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
- Prior experience delivering software in classified or federal environments
- Familiarity with cross-domain data-flow patterns between classified and unclassified networks
