Business Overview

GE Aerospace's Defense Engines & Services organization is the provider of choice for combat and trainer engines, rotorcraft and turboprop engines, mobility engines (tankers/transport), and marine gas turbines for the U.S. Armed Forces and its allies. Our team is responsible for design, manufacturing, and assembly of the engines on which the military depends, along with a vast array of services and support to approximately 30,000 engines in the field.

Role Overview

The Program Operations & Cost Account Manager (CAM) will lead execution across multiple F110 production and derivative programs by integrating operational performance with cost, schedule, and scope ownership. This role is responsible for driving predictable business results through strong cross-functional coordination, disciplined planning, and proactive management of program execution.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead operations execution across multiple programs or assigned work scopes to meet business and customer commitments
  • Serve as the CAM for one or more control accounts, with ownership of cost, schedule, and scope performance
  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and estimates to complete
  • Track actual performance versus plan and provide clear variance analysis and recommended corrective actions
  • Align work scope and execution plans with program milestones, integrated schedules, and operational priorities
  • Partner across Operations, Engineering, Finance, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Quality to resolve issues and improve execution
  • Drive operating rhythms and performance reviews focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC)
  • Identify risks and opportunities affecting delivery, cost, and execution, and lead mitigation or recovery planning
  • Prepare leadership updates, program reviews, and status communications
  • Support compliance, audit, and governance requirements associated with program controls and business operations
  • Promote continuous improvement in planning, execution, visibility, and accountability


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or Business field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations, Engineering, Program Management, Project Management, Finance, and/or Supply Chain
  • This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. Citizenship. Preference will be given to candidates who currently hold US Government Security Clearance.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Secret U.S. government security clearance
  • Experience in a cost account management, program controls, or a similar role
  • Familiarity with earned value management (EVM), schedule performance, and cost variance analysis
  • Experience in an aerospace, industrial, or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to connect operational execution with financial performance and business outcomes
  • Strong Excel, ERP, and reporting system skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, drive accountability, and lead recovery actions across teams
  • Experience supporting multiple programs, product lines, or complex work scopes simultaneously
  • Experience with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a cross-functional, matrixed environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills


This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
