Kelly is hiring!

We're looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our client's team as a Part-time Real Estate Law Clerk in Whitby, ON!

In this part-time, casual role, you'll help our client with their clerical needs.

What You'll Be Responsible For:
  • Open, maintain, and organize real estate transaction files.
  • Prepare, review, and revise closing documents, correspondence, and reporting letters.
  • Conduct title searches and review title documents, registrations, and related records.
  • Coordinate with clients, lenders, real estate agents, opposing counsel, and government offices.
  • Track closing dates, document deadlines, funds, and outstanding requirements.
  • Prepare closing statements and assist with trust accounting and disbursements, as authorized.
  • Arrange execution and registration of documents.
  • Provide clients with updates and respond to routine inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records and protect confidential information.
  • Other duties as required
What We're Looking For:
  • Law clerk diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience in real estate law and transaction management preferred.
  • Familiarity with title searches, closing procedures, and real estate documentation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and client-service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice-management software.
  • Knowledge of applicable real estate procedures and electronic registration systems is an asset.
Details:
• Pay Rate: $35/hour
• Schedule: Casual as needed
