Job Description

Dunhill Government Solutions is hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst to support a federal healthcare program and its marketplace oversight team. This is a full-time, fully remote role based in the U.S. We are looking for a well-rounded data and testing specialist who is highly skilled with Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI, and who can independently identify, document and research a problem or tell a story with data. You will work closely with project coordinators, business analysts and SharePoint developers on health IT initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the quality assurance effort for a SharePoint Online classic-to-modern migration, testing user-friendly solutions across multiple workstreams and confirming migrated content works to requirements
  • Work iteratively with business, product and development teams across the full SDLC: business requirements, functional specifications, integration and regression testing
  • Build and carry out efficient test plans for new systems, problems and enhancements
  • Analyze system requirements and technical specifications to write and execute detailed, reusable, step-by-step manual test cases
  • Plan, document, evaluate and track test results, clearly communicating expected vs. actual results and reproduction steps
  • Enter and manage defects in the defect tracking tool
  • Take part in walk-throughs, inspections, reviews and user group meetings, and in production implementation verification
  • Help establish quantitative measures of software quality, and review products and services against government quality assurance standards and guidelines
  • Maintain data repositories and reporting tools (for example, within SharePoint), contribute to data consolidation, and compile supplementary reports for stakeholders
  • Respond to unpredictable reporting requests with quick turnaround
  • Work with internal and external customers to understand analytics needs, identify KPIs, and monitor and correct customer data consistency
  • Contribute to SOPs, user guides, process improvements and the project's SharePoint information repository

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4 years of information technology experience in requirements development, programming and/or software testing
  • Highly proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Word and PowerPoint
  • Expert Excel skills, including macros and formulas
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Solid quantitative skills with databases and spreadsheets
  • Must have lived in the United States at least three of the last five years

Preferred:
  • Certified Tester, Advanced Level (TTA, TA and/or TM)
  • Knowledge of CMMI Level II/III, IEEE or other software development standards, SDLC methodologies, automation frameworks and test tools, including defect tracking
  • Knowledge of SQL, Dataverse, Power Platform tools and Tableau; familiarity with issue and bug tracking tools such as Jira
  • Experience with integrated test management tools for defect tracking, test cases and requirements traceability
  • Familiarity with basic programming, object-oriented concepts and database basics
  • Experience in customer support and in a government customer environment
  • Ability to work across multiple disciplines and several concurrent projects, and to translate technical concepts for non-technical coworkers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and conflict resolution skills, with a high level of initiative and calm under pressure

Details: Full-time, fully remote (U.S.), day shift, no travel.

Compensation: $80,000 - $115,000 per year

US Citizenship and the ability to pass a federal background investigation in order to be granted access to sensitive information.
