Job Description
Join our team as a Strategic Communications Specialist and support the Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) by shaping its internal and external messaging, events, and brand. You will plan communication strategies, produce news and digital content, and support executive engagements, ensure a clear, consistent voice across every channel.

Work Schedule and Location:
On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm in Linthicum Heights, MD. Travel: about 15-20 local DC-area events and 3-5 CONUS trips per year supporting conferences and outreach; no overseas travel.

Responsibilities
- Draft communication strategies, talking points, and messaging products
- Plan and execute special events, outreach, and brand campaigns
- Develop news and informational content for internal and external audiences
- Maintain communication standards across web, publications, presentations, and digital platforms
- Coordinate with the Public Affairs Office on approvals and documentation
- Support conferences and media events
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship
- 12+ years of experience in strategic communications or a similar field, or 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with an MA/MS/MBA
- Experience in Intelligence or Cyberspace communications and/or Federal and DoD policies and procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Desired:
