Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to support a high-visibility Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Fraud Rapid Response Center ("VA War Room") through a 100% remote work arrangement within the continental United States. The Administrative Support Specialist will support federal healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse initiatives through documentation management, executive reporting, stakeholder coordination, quality assurance, and process improvement activities.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Support Specialist include:
- Develop and format PowerPoint presentations, executive briefings, reports, dashboards, and communications for VA leadership
- Organize case documentation, supporting evidence, referral packages, and case tracking materials
- Support analytic reporting, quality assurance reviews, and preparation of workpapers and deliverables
- Develop and maintain SOPs, workflow process maps, quality checklists, and process documentation
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings, document meeting minutes, and track action items through completion
- Create training materials, templates, governance reports, white papers, and knowledge transfer documentation
- Collaborate with program managers, investigators, and healthcare stakeholders in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Qualifications of the Administrative Support Specialist include:
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of experience supporting federal healthcare programs, program operations, compliance initiatives, or healthcare administration
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Experience preparing executive-level reports, presentations, briefings, and professional documentation
- Experience with documentation management, quality assurance, reporting, program coordination, or process improvement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to pass a Tier 2 / Moderate Background Investigation (MBI) and obtain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Preferred: Experience supporting VA/VHA, CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, VA Community Care, healthcare claims, payment integrity, compliance, or fraud, waste, and abuse programs
- Preferred: Experience with case management or compliance tracking systems, including CIRTS
- Preferred: Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification or related credential
Compensation for the Administrative Support Specialist includes:
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000, depending on experience
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, Holidays, and Sick Leave as required by law
- 100% remote work arrangement within the continental United States
- East Coast working hours with occasional travel to Washington, DC for in-person meetings
