Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Oracle Software Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position.
Candidates must have an active Security+ CE certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Candidates must have an active Security+ CE certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain Reporting Instance (RI) Database
- Mastery of writing complex queries, subqueries, joins, advanced PL/SQL development including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and custom type definitions.
- Mastery of Unix knowledge and ability to modify and create Unix scripts.
- Participate in Oracle Cloud migrations and mitigate issues identified.
- Work with members of the software development team to coordinate Reporting Instance (RI) Database changes.
- Maintain RI related dependencies and daily Refresh processes.
- Prevent database bottlenecks and ensures rapid response times for mission-critical enterprise applications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA/BE in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years relevant experience in software engineering
- Experience developing and maintaining applications using Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle database objects, such as procedures, functions, triggers and packages.
- Experience in UNIX
- Must have COMPTIA Sec+ CE certification OR ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Air Force Human Resource process
- Understanding of EBS HCM functionality
- Strong understanding of Oracle and Unix programming
Clearance & Security Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain public trust clearance suitability
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
