Job Description
QA Automation Developer
Primary Focus: Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites that validate web application functionality, ensuring reliable quality gates across the development lifecycle.
Core Responsibilities:
• Implement automated end‑to‑end, integration, and regression test suites for a web application built on Angular and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop test automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium with a focus on reliability and maintainability.
• Write test code in TypeScript and/or C# following production engineering standards (version control, code review, CI integration).
• Build Page Object Models or equivalent abstraction layers to keep suites resilient to UI changes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines as quality gates on every pull request and deployment stage.
• Develop API‑level test automation (REST, SignalR) to validate backend contracts independently of the UI.
• Investigate and triage test failures, distinguishing between product defects, test defects, and environmental issues.
Required Qualifications:
• Proficiency in TypeScript or C#.
• Hands‑on experience with modern web test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium WebDriver).
• Understanding of web application architecture (SPAs, REST APIs, authentication flows) sufficient to design meaningful test scenarios.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Strong debugging skills with the ability to isolate root causes across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with API testing frameworks (Postman/Newman, RestSharp, or custom HTTP test harnesses).
• Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (k6, JMeter, Artillery).
• Exposure to visual regression testing, accessibility testing automation, or real‑time communication testing (WebSocket/SignalR).
