THE WORK

Develops, administers and audits security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export controlled data. Develops and executes security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies. Performs in individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for Special Access Programs (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs. Serves as a Contractor Special Access Program Security Officer (CSSO) & a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO).Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in SAP security policy (5205.07/JSIG), SCI security policy (ICD) or DOD security policy (32 CFR § Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Rule). Works closely with U. S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations. Provides support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program. Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials. Develops and conducts security education classes. Investigates security incidents and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners. Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.

This position is located in Liverpool NY

Day to Day duties will include but will not be limited to:

Preparing SAP/SCI nomination packages

Monitor and Track Foreign Travel

Classified document and media control to include maintenance of logs and movement

Administrative security functions such as organizing and filing documentation

Maintaining all end of day logs, safe check, visitor logs etc

Oversee physical security tasks (ICD705 related) to include escorting

Basic Qualifications

Current Top Secret security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation closed date and confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation/ Continuous Vetting (CE/CV)

Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs

Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)

Knowledge and experience implementing DoD 5205.07 and SCI Security policy (ex: ICD 703, ICD704, ICD705).

Familiar with working in classified environments with classified materials and equipment

Candidate must be a self-driven and results oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are required.

The ability to articulate and present intelligent, decisive, and risk-managed security recommendations, based on limited and/or conflicting information, is also essential, as is the ability to thrive and build relationships both within the corporation and externally with our government customers and industry partners.

Desired Skills

Knowledge of Advanced Program security requirements, Operations Security (OPSEC) and Program Protection Plans.

Experience as media custodian

ICD 705 construction certification

Works well independently and in group settings

The successful completion of CDSE SAP mid-level management course pre-requisites is preferred or must be completed within 1 year of employment

Experience with Joint Access Database Environment (JADE), Security Information Management System (SIMS) tool and Defense Information System for Security (DISS) databases.

Highly organized and detail oriented.

Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
