Our Financial Management & Business Analysis Portfolio supports the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC); the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (ASA) Financial Management and Comptroller (FM&C); the U.S. Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM); the Defense Health Agency (DHA); and many other DoD customers. We ensure the Army FM systems and processes are modernized and integrated to provide a complete range of financial and cost information needed for the Army to conduct business transactions, provide accountability to the public, and to support performance reporting and decision making. We provide effective functional systems support, user technical support, training support, and governance support of the Army's modernized and deployed FM domain ERP systems (GFEBS / GFEBS-SA / GCSS-A (Finance)), ensuring technological capabilities maturation and evolution aligns with Army and FM domain goals and objectives.

We are looking for a Program Analyst (Defense Travel System) to join our team to support the Army's Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires' Integrated Fires Directorate (IFD).
Responsibilities
- Provide Defense Travel System (DTS), travel administration, and related organizational support.
- Support travel authorizations, vouchers, amendments, cancellations, reviews, corrections, and other travel actions for IFD personnel.
- Coordinate with travelers, Authorizing Officials (AOs), Reviewing Officials (ROs), Certifying Officials (COs), government travel card personnel, finance organizations, and other stakeholders to resolve travel issues and ensure actions are completed accurately and timely.
- Provide guidance on applicable travel procedures, track outstanding actions, assist personnel with DTS requirements, and identify opportunities to improve travel processes and reduce administrative delays.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Possess an active DoD SECRET clearance
- 3-10 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree
- Experience with DTS, DoD travel, administrative support, or related functions
- Familiarity with government travel processes and applicable travel policies
- Ability to review information for accuracy and identify discrepancies or missing information
- Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at various organizational levels
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work in the Huntsville, Alabama area and support the IFD mission in person five days per week, eight hours per day. Telework is by exception based on mission requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Army or DoD DTS operations
- DTS Administrator, AO, RO, or CO experience
- Familiarity with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR)
- Experience supporting Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) requirements
- Experience troubleshooting travel issues and coordinating with finance or travel offices
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
