This compensation range is specific to Colorado and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $74,900 to $99,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

Work You'll Do:
As a Junior Systems Administrator Consultant on the Enterprise Security team, you will be responsible for:
- Administering and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu Linux systems, including access, configurations, patching, and platform health.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting, escalation handling, and operational continuity across mission-critical environments.
- Help maintain high-availability systems by resolving complex issues, guiding junior personnel, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
- Implementing container-hardening practices and remediate configuration vulnerabilities across deployed environments
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving system, security, and networking incidents through established operational procedures
- Monitoring system alerts, logs, and performance
- Configuring, testing, and deploying software updates, patches, and security-control changes through documented change-management processes
- Maintaining operational documentation, runbooks, and metrics; supporting control-evidence and audit requests
- Partnering with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to document changes, maintain runbooks, and support control-evidence requests.

Qualifications
Required:
- Associate degree in systems administration, cybersecurity, information technology, or network engineering and 4+ years of experience in one or more of those fields; or a bachelor's degree in one of those fields and 2+ years of experience in one or more of those fields; or No Degree and 6+ years of professional experience in systems administration.
- Must possess an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
- 2+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu Linux, Ansible, networking, and container hardening
- 2+ years of experience configuring or maintaining endpoint security, vulnerability management, or identity and access management platforms
- Experience configuring or maintaining endpoint security, vulnerability management, or identity and access management platforms and using PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate system administration tasks
- Experience executing documented change-management procedures to deploy software updates, patches, or configuration changes
- Experience Building and maintaining Ansible automation for system configuration, deployment activities, and recurring operational tasks
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Experience administering Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform environments
- Experience integrating security platforms through application programming interfaces
- Experience supporting evidence collection for information technology controls or security audits
- Bachelors degree in Systems Administration or Information Technology.
