Parsons is seeking a Principal Software Developer who has extensive experience with Navy or DoW software systems. In this role you will get to support a high visibility Navy Program.

Salary Range: $148,300.00 - $266,900.00

Parsons is seeking a Principal Software Developer who has extensive experience with Navy or DoW software systems. In this role you will get to support a high visibility Navy Program.
What You'll be Doing:
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis
- Update software or enhance existing software capabilities
- May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements
- May maintain databases within an application area
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a Top-Secret clearance with SCI and ability to pass a Counterintelligence polygraph
- Minimum of 10 years or more of professional experience in Software Development
- Master's degree, or an authorized substitution for a bachelor's degree plus four additional years of relevant experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative/distributed team environment
- Experience developing software using various programming languages and technologies.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and testing complex software applications.
- Experience with the software development life cycle.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
Desired Qualifications:
- An active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly is preferred
- Experience with Cybersecurity best practices
- Experience supporting Navy programs, NAVWAR, NIWC Pacific, NIWC Atlantic
Security Clearance Requirement:
