Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aerospace maintenance projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections and maintenance on aircraft components
• Repair and replace aircraft structures, including wings, fuselage, and empennage
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify material flaws and weaknesses
• Fabricate and install structural components using welding, bonding, and other techniques
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and parts used
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or related field
• Secret clearance required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Proficiency in NDT techniques (e.g., dye penetrant, magnetic particle)
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural materials and processes
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on military aircraft
• Knowledge of FAA and DoD maintenance regulations
• Certification in advanced NDT methods
• Experience with composite materials repair
