iWorks is seeking a Security Incident & Risk Management Specialist to support security incident response, risk management activities, and security program operations. The successful candidate will assess risks, support investigations, track security incidents, develop mitigation strategies, and help strengthen organizational security posture.
*This position is contingent upon contract award.
Salary Range: 88k-98k - commensurate with the candidate's skills, experience, location, and qualifications.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Support security incident management and response activities.
- Conduct risk assessments and security reviews.
- Analyze incidents and identify root causes or trends.
- Develop mitigation recommendations and corrective action plans.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and risk management documentation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve security issues.
- Track incident remediation efforts and risk reduction initiatives.
- Support compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security programs and processes.
Required Education/Qualifications:
- Security Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility and current CI Polygraph required.
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in security operations, risk management, investigations, incident management, personnel security, or related security disciplines.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and security reviews.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting federal government or Department of Defense security programs.
- Experience developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Knowledge of security compliance frameworks and best practices.
