Overview:

Olgoonik is seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to lead day-to-day contractor operations supporting a DLA Distribution Susquehanna Packaging House. The Project Supervisor will serve as the contractor's on-site supervisor and primary point of contact for Government representatives and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and ensuring the successful execution of PPP&M and material movement operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse leadership experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage personnel and workload in a fast-paced DLA distribution environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the on-site contractor supervisor and primary point of contact for Government representatives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage daily contractor operations and workforce assignments.
  • Participate in daily workload planning meetings with the Government TPOC.
  • Review available workload, staffing, production requirements, discrepancies, and prior-day accomplishments.
  • Ensure personnel are assigned effectively to meet daily workload requirements.
  • Supervise PPP&M remediation, including repackaging, relabeling, remarking, and correction of packaging discrepancies.
  • Coordinate material movement and staging following completion of PPP&M processing.
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable DLA policies, SOPs, military packaging requirements, and established procedures.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure accurate and timely production reports, weekly status reports, and other required deliverables.
  • Identify and address operational issues, delays, discrepancies, and potential performance problems.
  • Maintain effective quality-control practices and ensure work is completed within required performance standards.
  • Respond to Government inquiries and operational issues as required.
  • Ensure contractor personnel maintain required training, certifications, access, and workplace standards.
  • Previous experience supporting DLA Distribution or another Department of Defense logistics operation.
  • Experience with DLA warehouse management systems and Government logistics data systems.
  • Experience with PPP&M, stock readiness, military packaging, or warehouse remediation operations.
  • Army Pack-1A and Pack-1B training.
  • Experience supervising personnel in a Government warehouse environment .


Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Supervisory responsibilities are not anticipated.


Education and/or Experience:
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience in warehouse operations, logistics, PPP&M, material handling, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple warehouse activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with Government and contractor personnel.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse/distribution environment and support material movement operations.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Pack-1B certification/training required.


Security Clearance:

If SECRET Clearance Level is required, candidate must also:

  • Have a current US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered Investigation
  • Be able to maintain a US Government SECRET clearance.
