About The Role
Peraton is seeking an Enterprise Operations Manager to support the Department of Transportation's Enterprise IT Shared Services (EITSS) program. This role provides leadership and oversight across multiple IT service towers-Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, End User Services, and Program Support-serving DOT headquarters and more than 200 field offices in the Common Operating Environment (COE).
The Enterprise Operations Manager ensures the delivery of reliable, secure, and mission-aligned IT services that enable DOT's critical transportation initiatives nationwide.

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

About The Role
Peraton is seeking an Enterprise Operations Manager to support the Department of Transportation's Enterprise IT Shared Services (EITSS) program. This role provides leadership and oversight across multiple IT service towers-Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, End User Services, and Program Support-serving DOT headquarters and more than 200 field offices in the Common Operating Environment (COE).
The Enterprise Operations Manager ensures the delivery of reliable, secure, and mission-aligned IT services that enable DOT's critical transportation initiatives nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Provide enterprise-wide leadership for day-to-day operations across all service towers including infrastructure management, cybersecurity operations, end user support, and program support.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery, operational stability, adherence to DOT governance and federal IT standards, and attainment of service levels and Award Fee criteria.
- Oversee server hosting, networking, connectivity, cloud operations, and system administration activities.
- Align cybersecurity operational activities-including security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery-with DOT requirements.
- Collaborate with End User Operations lead to support end user services leadership across enterprise help desk, desktop support, field support, mobility device management, and hardware/software lifecycle processes.
- Lead operational reporting, performance metrics, and KPI tracking; identify trends, risks, automation and productivity opportunities and improvement opportunities.
- Manage escalations, operational issues, and coordination with DOT stakeholders and leadership.
- Participate in governance forums, executive briefings, and planning sessions to maintain alignment with contract objectives and agency mission priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and enterprise resiliency.
- Ensure documentation, processes, and procedures meet compliance, quality, and audit requirements.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field..
- 12 years of experience in enterprise IT operations, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-tower IT service delivery and direct leadership of multiple tower/task leaders in complex or federal environments.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure operations including Cloud hosting and Network services, cybersecurity practices, and end user support functions.
- Experience with ITIL-based processes and enterprise service management platforms.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- US Citizenship is required.
- ITIL v4 certification.
- Prior experience supporting federal agencies or shared services environments.
- Experience with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM systems.
- Background supporting cloud migration, enterprise networking, or cyber compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with an operational mindset and attention to detail.
- Proven ability in performance management, metrics, and continuous improvement.
