Position Overview
RiVidium Inc. is seeking Personnel Actions Processing Specialists to support the EPA Human Resources Shared Service Center (HRSSC). The selected candidates will provide federal HR transactional processing support, ensuring personnel actions are accurately reviewed, processed, documented, and completed in accordance with OPM regulations, EPA policies, and established procedures.

Position Overview
RiVidium Inc. is seeking Personnel Actions Processing Specialists to support the EPA Human Resources Shared Service Center (HRSSC). The selected candidates will provide federal HR transactional processing support, ensuring personnel actions are accurately reviewed, processed, documented, and completed in accordance with OPM regulations, EPA policies, and established procedures.
Responsibilities
- Review personnel action requests and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Review, code, and process SF-52 and related SF-50 personnel actions.
- Process appointments, promotions, transfers, reassignments, separations, awards, benefits, and other personnel actions.
- Enter approved transactions into federal HR and payroll systems.
- Research and resolve processing discrepancies and missing information.
- Maintain accurate personnel records, transaction logs, and supporting documentation.
- Perform quality-control reviews of completed personnel actions.
- Maintain and upload required documentation to electronic Official Personnel Folders (eOPFs).
- Coordinate with HR Specialists, managers, employees, and other customers to resolve personnel and payroll issues.
- Respond to inquiries professionally and within established processing timelines.
- Safeguard PII and sensitive personnel information.
- 3+ years of experience supporting Federal civilian HR or personnel action processing.
- Ability to independently process and resolve more complex federal personnel actions.
- Working knowledge of the OPM Guide to Processing Personnel Actions (GPPA).
- Experience processing or validating SF-52/SF-50 personnel actions.
- Experience with a federal HR, payroll, personnel, or workflow system.
- Experience with eOPF or a comparable federal personnel records system.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to research and resolve personnel action discrepancies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with FPPS, EmpowHR, HR Connect, NFC, or comparable federal HR/payroll systems.
- Experience supporting a federal agency HR organization.
- Experience working with high-volume personnel transactions.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust designation.
