Job Description
GovCIO is hiring a Clinical AI Integration Lead to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as it rolls out Ambient Scribe, a tool that helps clinicians document patient visits. This role leads Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), enterprise readiness and sustainment. You will work across clinical teams, technical vendors, and VA leadership to turn what we learn in the field into clear recommendations. This role operates at the intersection of technical operations, clinical workflows, and digital health innovation, supporting interface testing between VistA and Ambient Scribe solutions, assisting with real-time troubleshooting activities, validating workflows against operational requirements, and coordinating technical issue escalation through established support pathways. This position will be located remotely within the United States.

Responsibilities

- Manages the direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
- Defines requirements and plans project lifecycle deployment.
- Supervises professional and technical support personnel performing in their regular disciplines.
- Schedules tasks and coordinates with various team members to accomplish the results.
- Turn findings into clear summaries and recommendations for leadership
- Make sure issues are documented, prioritized, and sent to the right people
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
- Healthcare Experience
- Experience leading testing or evaluation efforts and building repeatable processes
- Experience coordinating across vendors, technical teams and program stakeholders
- Strong communication, facilitation and writing skills
Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with VA healthcare
- Familiarity with VA clinical documentation systems
- Experience with Ambient documentation tools
- Experience with enterprise deployment effort
