Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Air Defense Training Specialist to support the delivery of technical and operational training for military personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Air Defense systems, military instruction, and training operations, with the ability to conduct classroom and hands-on instruction in both domestic and international environments.
This role supports the planning, execution, and evaluation of training events, while ensuring equipment readiness and assisting with system integration and fielding activities. Candidates must be comfortable traveling extensively and working in dynamic, mission-focused settings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience; OR
- Master's degree and a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining Air Defense systems.
- Experience supporting military training programs and operational environments.
- Knowledge of military doctrine, procedures, operations, and training methodologies.
- Experience providing military instruction at both individual and collective training levels.
- Verifiable instructor certification from a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Active Secret security clearance is required and must be maintained throughout employment.
Travel/Location:
- Must be located in, or willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including support of training activities at various program locations.
