Position Overview
The OA Coordinator keeps the Ongoing Authorization (OA) program on a predictable monthly cadence by managing meetings, minutes, scan results, and document deadlines. This position works with system owners and government staff to make sure every monthly deadline is met. The minimum 2 years of experience reflects the need for strong organization and professional communication.
Responsibilities
• Schedules monthly OA meetings by the 5th of each month.
• Distributes meeting minutes within 1 business day.
• Distributes scan results within 1 week.
• Sends 30-day document expiration notices to system owners.
• Provides Government-to-Government (G2G) support by the 15th of each month.
• Tracks action items and follows up with stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum Experience Required:
• Minimum 2 years of project coordination or administrative experience, preferably in federal IT or cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated organization and calendar management skills.
• Demonstrated clear, professional written communication.
Additional Experience:
Familiarity with RMF and Ongoing Authorization concepts.
Security+ or CAPM certification.
