We are seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to assist in the development of Electronic Warfare Systems
Program Overview
Gauge Engineering Services is an established subcontractor supporting multiple new development efforts related to Electronic Warfare Systems.
Location: King of Prussia, PA
Clearance: Top Secret
Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer you will develop, integrate and test various parts of our system that implement transmitter and receiver designs for diverse mission solutions across a wide array of domains including communications, telecom, electronic, and sensor systems. Enhance waveforms to increase resiliency to real world conditions. algorithm performance/compute efficiency, and probability of detect & decode. Develop, Debug, Test across several C & C++ Code Bases Design & Architect new waveform approaches and logic.
Day-to-day activities include but not limited to:
• Participating in daily scrums, bi-weekly sprint planning, release planning, and demonstrations
• Developing software for interfacing with HW components
• Integrating open and modular hardware and software compliance in the field of RF systems
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5-9 years of software engineering experience
• Traditional software development experience:
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript)
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms (arrays, linked lists, trees, sorting, searching)
• Competence in debugging and troubleshooting code (using IDE tools, logging, breakpoints)
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms (arrays, linked lists, trees, sorting, searching)
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git (branching, merging, pull requests)
• Experience collaborating in a team setting (code reviews, pair programming, documentation)
• Microservice Development experience
• DevSecOps Experience

General Experience
• Agile / DevSecOps
