$75,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually
QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Logistician (Specialist) to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, to support our customer, Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT).
Duties:
Manage the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including coordination of system fielding and implementation of field support.
Implements logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, provisioning, etc.; resolves logistics problems.
Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities such as maintenance planning, repair analysis, and test equipment recommendations.
Reviews logistics documentation (e.g., maintenance reports, asset reports of fielded systems, readiness reports etc.).
Collects obsolescence management information from OEMs and consolidates obsolescence management reports in collaboration with engineering personnel.
Required Skills & Experience:
Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Required Clearance:
ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
Qualifications:
AA/AS degree from an accredited college or technical school required. Degree preferred in Operations management, supply chain management, or related field.
At least ten (10) years of total experience as a logistician within the DOD environment.
An additional two (2) years of experience may be substituted for degree.
Travel:
25% or more travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment:
This position will be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, government offices, military bases and depots, warehouse/maintenance shops, and/or field environments that include extended periods outdoors.
Physical Demands:
Physical demands of this position include ability to:
Be independently mobile.
Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as glasses/goggles (eyes), ear plugs/muffs (hearing), hard hats, and breathing respirators/masks.
Operate powered vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, etc.
Lift/push/pull objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
Withstand exposure to noise from operating equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
