Job Description
Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is looking for two Contract Specialists to help the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Transit Administration buy the services behind its transit programs. If you enjoy building a clean solicitation, keeping a busy caseload on track and closing out files right, this role is for you.

What you'll do
- Draft RFQs and RFPs and review SOWs, SOOs and PWSs with program staff.
- Support market research, evaluations, awards and modifications.
- Administer IDIQs, BPAs, GSA Schedule orders, task and delivery orders, and purchase orders.
- Assist with price analysis, modifications and contract closeouts.
- Keep every action's status current and visible to the Government team.
- 5+ years of federal contracting experience; bachelor's degree or 24 business-related semester hours preferred.
- Hands-on experience with FAR Parts 12, 13, 37 and 43, FSS ordering and FAR 4.804 closeouts.
- Experience with FFP, cost-reimbursement, labor-hour and T&M contracts.
- Strong organization, writing and research skills; MS Office and Google Workspace.
- PRISM, FAC-C or DOT experience is a plus.
- Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.
- Primarily remote; must be able to work on-site at DOT HQ (Navy Yard, Washington, DC) if requested.
- Must reside and work in the U.S. and be able to pass a federal background investigation.
