Job Description
Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is hiring two Acquisition Liaisons to bridge program and contracting teams at the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Transit Administration. You'll help program staff turn their needs into clear requirements and complete acquisition packages, so contracts get awarded faster and right the first time.

What you'll do
- Guide program offices through acquisition planning and purchase request packages.
- Help write SOWs, PWSs, market research reports, IGCEs, J&As and evaluation criteria.
- Run market research using GSA MRAS and other tools.
- Review packages for compliance before they reach the contracting office.
- Track contract status and funding and prepare actions for closeout.
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of hands-on federal acquisition experience.
- FAC-C Level II or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of FAR Parts 12, 13, 15, 37 and 43, FSS ordering and closeout.
- GSA MRAS market research experience.
- A consultative style; you explain the process without jargon.
- MS Office, Teams and Google Workspace; PRISM, SharePoint or CRM experience is a plus.
- Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.
- Primarily remote; must be able to work on-site at DOT HQ (Navy Yard, Washington, DC) if requested.
- Must reside and work in the U.S. and be able to pass a federal background investigation.
