Job Description

Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) needed for an opportunity with SOC's client to work in Guam.

Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret is Required!

Job Responsibilities
The Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) will support secure construction activities at a data center facility at Joint Region Marianas, Guam. The CST is responsible for monitoring construction and renovation activities to ensure compliance with applicable security protocols, construction standards, project specifications and ICD-705 security procedures.
The CST will conduct continuous surveillance of construction activities, monitor and control access to secure construction areas, verify authorized personnel, inspect work for compliance with approved plans and security requirements, and identify and report security breaches, safety violations, anomalies or other non-compliance issues.
The CST must be capable of reading and analyzing construction designs and blueprints, understanding the architect's intended use, and recognizing design or structural complexities that could potentially conceal an unauthorized purpose.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining detailed daily logs and records, documenting incidents and observations, conducting regular site inspections, coordinating with construction managers, security personnel and project stakeholders, and providing status updates regarding construction activities and identified issues.
The CST will also ensure construction activities are conducted safely and in accordance with applicable site safety and security procedures.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Construction Surveillance Technician
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Experience using surveillance equipment and technology
  • Experience with data center construction processes and standards
  • Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in a construction environment
  • Knowledge of construction-site safety and security protocols
  • Knowledge of technical surveillance countermeasures and construction principles
  • Ability to understand and apply ICD-705 security procedures
  • Ability to read and analyze construction designs and blueprints
  • Ability to recognize construction/design anomalies or structural complexities that could conceal an unintended or unauthorized purpose
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to promptly handle and resolve issues or conflicts
