Additional information
- Serves as Security Assistance Training Specialist and primary point-of-contact in one of the following Security Cooperation training and education area
- Plans, programs and monitors training programs that support international students (military and civilians) under Foreign Military Sales (FMS), or other training furnished by other government agencies.
- Develops, in accordance with Combatant Commands and Security Cooperation Offices (SCOs) two year training requirements to meet the planning requirements prescribed by appropriate Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Army (DA) regulations
- Maintains DoD and organization databases and program records for the U.S. Army SA Training Program.
- Prepares studies to identify the most appropriate methods for overcoming training deficiencies in foreign countries resulting from introduction of U.S. equipment or to respond to host country desires to improve their defense establishments.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance throughout the duration of employment.
- Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position certification within 24 months of appointment.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 25 % of the time.
