Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 base salary

Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Functional Consultant to support a major federal SAP S/4HANA modernization program. This role will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions that support Enterprise Asset Management processes and master data governance across a large-scale integrated SAP landscape.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP MDG, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Plant Maintenance (PM), data governance, and SAP S/4HANA implementations, along with the ability to work closely with government stakeholders, functional teams, and technical resources.
This position is fully remote with occasional travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead workshops and requirements-gathering sessions to define EAM master data governance requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document business rules, workflows, and enterprise asset data governance processes.
• Configure and implement SAP MDG solutions, including:
◦ Data Models
◦ Change Request Workflows
◦ UI FPM Modeling
◦ Process Modeling
◦ Business Rule Framework Plus (BRF+)
• Design and maintain governance processes supporting:
◦ Equipment Master Data
◦ Functional Locations
◦ Maintenance Bills of Material (BOMs)
◦ Maintenance Task Lists
◦ Asset Hierarchies
• Configure Data Replication Framework (DRF) to distribute master data across integrated SAP environments.
• Support SAP integrations utilizing IDocs, Web Services, and SOA Services.
• Partner with PM, EAM, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, and technical teams to ensure master data accuracy and consistency.
• Develop Functional Design Documents (FDDs), specifications, and configuration documentation.
• Support data migration, cleansing, conversion, and governance initiatives.
• Execute unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide post-go-live support.
• Participate in release planning, deployment activities, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with program quality standards and information security requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Active Secret Clearance (required).
• 5-7+ years of relevant SAP experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions supporting Enterprise Asset Management.
• Strong understanding of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) business processes.
• Experience configuring:
◦ SAP MDG Data Models
◦ Workflows
◦ UI FPM Modeling
◦ BRF+
◦ Data Replication Framework (DRF)
• Experience governing enterprise asset master data, including equipment, functional locations, maintenance task lists, and maintenance BOMs.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations and/or ERP modernization programs.
• Experience facilitating requirements sessions and developing Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in complex, multi-system SAP environments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) SAP programs.
• Experience with federal ERP modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of integrations between SAP MDG and:

◦ Materials Management (MM)

• Experience with enterprise asset data migration and data quality programs.
• SAP MDG Certification.
