Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Business Partner Functional Consultant to join a growing team supporting a large-scale federal SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative. This position will play a key role in designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Business Partner solutions that govern customer and vendor master data across complex SAP environments.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in SAP MDG Business Partner, including data modeling, workflow configuration, BRF+, UI FPM modeling, and DRF, along with experience collaborating with business stakeholders to improve data quality, governance, and operational efficiency.
This is a fully remote opportunity supporting a mission-critical Department of Defense modernization program.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and business process workshops focused on Business Partner master data governance.
• Partner with business stakeholders to document requirements, business rules, and master data governance processes.
• Design and configure SAP MDG Business Partner solutions, including:
◦ Data Modeling
◦ UI FPM Modeling
◦ Workflow Configuration
◦ Process Modeling
◦ Business Rule Framework Plus (BRF+)
• Configure and maintain Change Request workflows, validation rules, and derivation rules.
• Support governance processes surrounding customer and vendor lifecycle management.
• Configure and support the Data Replication Framework (DRF) for Business Partner data distribution across SAP landscapes.
• Support integrations using SOA Services, Web Services, and IDocs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and technical teams to ensure consistent and accurate Business Partner data.
• Create Functional Design Documents (FDDs), configuration documentation, and process documentation.
• Support testing activities including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing enhancements and optimization efforts.
• Participate in change management, process improvement, and governance initiatives.
• Provide occasional on-site support when required.
Required Qualifications
• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of SAP Business Partner or SAP Master Data Governance experience (5-7 years preferred).
• Demonstrated experience configuring:
◦ SAP MDG Business Partner
◦ Data Models
◦ Workflow Configuration
◦ UI FPM Modeling
◦ Business Rule Framework Plus (BRF+)
◦ Data Replication Framework (DRF)
• Strong understanding of SAP Business Partner master data within SAP S/4HANA, including:
◦ Customer Master Data
◦ Vendor Master Data
• Experience facilitating requirements workshops and gathering business requirements.
• Experience developing Functional Design Documents and supporting solution delivery.
• Experience working within complex, multi-system SAP environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) SAP programs.
• Experience supporting federal ERP modernization or SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with SAP integrations involving:

◦ Finance (FI)
◦ Procurement

• Experience with enterprise master data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Experience supporting highly regulated or government environments.
