Oracle Cloud Senior Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coordinating implementations and managing solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Provide insight to developing containerized applications, optimizing the use of OCI services, and ensuring robust database management practices.
• Configure and monitor Data Safe to uphold security and compliance standards, while acting as the primary liaison to Oracle Cloud support for troubleshooting and escalations.
• Analyze and manage OCI cost models to ensure efficient resource utilization and budget adherence.
• Design, implement, and manage solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to meet business and technical requirements.
• Lead containerization initiatives and manage containerized workloads within OCI.
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and optimization of OCI services.
• Administer and maintain cloud-based databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and manage Oracle Data Safe for data security and compliance.
• Serve as the primary liaison to Oracle Cloud support for issue resolution and service optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud solutions and support ongoing cloud operations.
• T3 investigation required. 

Required Skills:

• Must have hands-on experience with OCI environments, including provisioning and scaling cloud resources, as well as a strong background in containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with and integrating various OCI services, managing cloud-based databases, and leveraging Data Safe for security monitoring will be highly beneficial.
• Exposure to cost optimization strategies within cloud platforms, as well as experience collaborating with vendor support teams.
• Must have experience providing services in a multitenant fashion. Must have experience with Oracle DoD Realm of OCI, as well as experience with Cloud One’s use of OCI.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) administration.
