Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented FAA Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling fabricated parts at floor stations, testing and calibrating parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. You will use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications, identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels, and perform necessary repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations.
* Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
* Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
* Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and perform necessary repairs.
Qualifications:
* Completion of an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the area of specialty is preferred.
* 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
* Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
* Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
* Ability to work under immediate supervision.
* Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without significant repetitions.
* Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is anticipated.
* Operation of a powered industrial truck may be required.
