In this role, you will operate light-duty bench and floor-type machine tools and equipment while ensuring quality standards, safety requirements, and production goals are met. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience who are looking to grow their skills in a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate light-duty bench or floor-type machine tools and equipment, including:
- Small lathes
- Power mills
- Extruding machines
- Drills and punch presses
- Power brakes
- Shears and saws
- Set up machines and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.
- Inspect completed work using prescribed gauges, jigs, fixtures, and measuring devices.
- Verify product quality and maintain close tolerances according to specifications.
- Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with statistical process control and quality standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience demonstrating strong attention to detail.
- 1-2 years of experience with effective communication skills.
- Basic computer skills with 1-2 years of experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of SAP experience.
- Experience working with microscopes and performing detailed visual inspections.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with numerically controlled (NC/CNC) machine operations.
