Seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk I to support our Logistics team in Miami, FL. This role is critical in ensuring products are accurately packaged, documented, and shipped to customers on time while supporting inventory accuracy and receiving operations.

As a Shipping Clerk I, you will:
This position works primarily within a shipping and receiving environment and may involve exposure to both indoor and outdoor conditions, including weather variations and loading dock activities. Team members regularly work around forklifts, hand trucks, and packaging equipment. Appropriate safety equipment is provided and required as applicable. Occasional overtime may be necessary to meet shipping deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
As a Shipping Clerk I, you will:
- Verify picked units against customer order pick lists to ensure shipment accuracy.
- Package avionics control panels, spare parts, and documentation using proper packing materials and protective packaging methods.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with department requirements.
- Receive incoming shipments and accurately record deliveries in the ERP system.
- Inspect incoming deliveries and verify quantities and documentation against purchase orders and company records.
- Notify internal customers of received packages and coordinate deliveries as needed.
- Perform inventory cycle counts of finished goods within the shipping area.
- Maintain an organized shipping and receiving area and ensure adequate inventory of shipping supplies.
- Support overall logistics operations while adhering to company safety standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and hand trucks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within the avionics or aerospace industry.
- Forklift operator certification.
- Experience using foam-in-bag packaging systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience utilizing shipping carrier portals such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, and Aerospace TMS.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with employees across all levels of the organization.
