Position Overview The GCSS-Army / Logistics Systems Specialist will support processing, physical distribution, and logistics services in support of the Texas Army National Guard.
Essential Job Function
  • Verify the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records. Access Decision Support Tool (DST) system to verify equipment and shipping information.
  • Work the GCSS-Army System to ensure that all materials incoming to the USPFO Warehouse are stored properly, processed accordingly and shipped out to their proper locations (local and national level). Input, update and export information in/with GCSS-Army or government approved Logistics Information System (LIS).
  • Input/update/export LIS data
  • GCSS-Army processing
  • DST verification
  • Utilize WEBFLIS, WEBVLIPS, LIW, AESIP, FMSWEB
  • Transaction research and audit support.


Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5 years warehouse/logistics experience
  • Demonstrates proficiency in a range of logistics information systems, including the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), Decision Support Tool (DST), Web Federal Logistics Information System (WEBFLIS), Web Visual Logistics Information Processing System (WEBVLIPS), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), and Force Management System Web Site (FMSWEB).
  • Tier 1 Investigation
  • CAC card or ability to obtain one
  • Forklift license when operating forklift
