About the role:
Globalpundits is hiring an IT Project Manager for a multi-year technology program with a client in the regulated energy sector. You'll independently lead delivery of a team's technology initiative. You'll coordinate business stakeholders, technical resources and vendors from planning through go-live.
What you'll do:
-Plan, execute and deliver the team's technology initiative with limited supervision
-Own the project schedule, budget, risk log and status reporting for the full engagement
-Coordinate business stakeholders, technical resources, vendors and project team members
-Analyze delivery problems, develop solutions and drive issues to resolution
-Lead specific workstreams or small teams and guide junior project staff
-Run delivery using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methods as the project requires
What we're looking for:
-4–8 years of IT project management experience, including at least 4 years leading IT project delivery
-Strong stakeholder communication and vendor coordination skills
-Hands-on experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery
-Experience managing project budgets and risk registers
-PMP or equivalent certification preferred
-Experience in energy, utilities, manufacturing or other regulated industries is a plus
