CNC Lathe Machine Operator - Anaheim, CA
Pay: $26.00 - $35.00/hr DOE
Schedule: 1st & 2nd Shift Available
1st Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday | 3:00pm - 11:30pm

We're seeking skilled CNC Lathe Machine Operators to join a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working with CNC equipment, interpreting blueprints, inspecting precision components, and contributing to high-quality production. Successful candidates will play a key role in machining operations while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Set up and operate CNC lathe machines according to production specifications and work instructions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation to ensure parts are produced accurately.
  • Measure and inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments and established quality standards.
  • Monitor production runs and manage multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic upkeep on CNC machinery to ensure reliable operation.
  • Maintain production records and communicate quality, production, or equipment concerns to supervisors and team members.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and workplace safety.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
  • Experience operating and/or setting up CNC lathe machines in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Experience using measuring and inspection tools to verify dimensions and product quality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of manufacturing quality standards.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet production deadlines.
  • Experience with GibbsCAM, Mastercam, or similar CNC programming software preferred.
  • Familiarity with metals, alloys, and machining characteristics of various materials preferred.
  • Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes preferred.
  • Experience operating manual mills, lathes, grinders, or other conventional machining equipment preferred.
  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, medical device, or precision machining industries is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and maneuver in tight workspaces as needed.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements while operating machinery and inspection equipment.

Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), Protected Individual, or otherwise eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorization.
