Pay: $25.00 - $30.00/hr+ DOE
Schedule: 1st & 2nd Shift Available
1st Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday | 2:30pm - 11:00pm

We're seeking skilled Wire/Sinker EDM Machinists to join our precision machining team in Anaheim, CA. This role is ideal for detail-oriented manufacturing professionals with experience operating and setting up EDM equipment who take pride in producing high-quality components. Successful candidates will play a key role in supporting precision manufacturing operations while maintaining aerospace-level quality and performance standards.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Set up, fixture, and operate Wire EDM and/or Sinker EDM machines according to production requirements and work instructions.
  • Measure and inspect completed parts using blueprints, travelers, and inspection requirements to ensure product quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Manage multiple machining jobs simultaneously while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep to ensure reliable machine performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and manufacturing excellence.
  • Communicate quality, production, and equipment concerns to supervisors and team members as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company procedures and standards.
  • Assist with additional shop-related duties and projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of experience operating Wire EDM and/or Sinker EDM machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience with machine setup, fixturing, inspection, and precision measurement.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience with Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, and/or Hole Drill EDM equipment preferred.
  • Programming experience with Esprit or similar EDM programming software preferred.
  • Knowledge of metals, specialty materials, and aerospace alloys preferred.
  • Quality inspection experience and familiarity with manufacturing quality standards preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles preferred.
  • Experience operating manual Bridgeport mills, lathes, grinders, or other conventional machining equipment preferred.
ITAR Requirement

Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), Protected Individual, or otherwise eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorization.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and maneuver in tight workspaces as needed.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements while operating machinery and inspection equipment.
