Pay: $20.00 - $27.00/hr DOE
Schedule: 1st & 2nd Shift Available
1st Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:00pm
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday | 3:00pm - 11:00pm

We're seeking motivated Extrusion Press Operators to join our manufacturing team in Franklin, NH. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a production environment, operating industrial equipment, monitoring product quality, and contributing to safe and efficient manufacturing operations. Successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring extrusion processes meet production, quality, and ISO standards.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate and monitor extrusion press equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Set up and establish run practices for new extrusion profiles and production jobs.
  • Monitor extrusion quality throughout the production process and perform required quality checks.
  • Visually inspect metal products and identify defects or non-conforming material.
  • Operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment to move raw materials, finished products, and scrap safely.
  • Load billets, transport materials, and support die setup activities associated with extrusion press operations.
  • Utilize production systems to review alloy specifications, temper requirements, cut lengths, and production information.
  • Perform etch testing and other quality verification processes as required.
  • Apply ISO procedures and quality standards throughout manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor equipment performance and respond appropriately to operational issues or equipment malfunctions.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, maintenance personnel, and other departments to support production goals.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous manufacturing, industrial production, machine operation, extrusion, fabrication, or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand measurement tolerances.
  • Experience working with quality standards, inspections, or ISO-driven manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate production equipment and material handling equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly to equipment or production issues.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with production personnel, supervisors, and maintenance teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing production requirements and priorities.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Experience with overhead cranes, extrusion equipment, manufacturing systems, or quality verification processes is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and move throughout a manufacturing facility for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and move production materials as required.
  • Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements, bending, reaching, and material handling tasks.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and production equipment.
