Given our continued growth, we have an immediate role available for an experienced and highly motivated Production Support Electrical Engineering Manager to join our team. As a member of the Continued Engineering Services (CES) team, you will have the chance to provide engineering support to the production of complex electronic assemblies and manage a team of electrical engineers, supporting multiple product lines and business areas. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced Military Platforms.

Activities day to day will vary and may include:

* Working with multiple Program Management Offices (PMOs) to understand and plan for the Electrical Engineering staffing needs to support production in our Austin Business Center.
* Assignment of Electrical Engineering resources to support various businesses and product lines
* Training and development of the electrical engineering team
* Leading and peer reviewing issue resolution for electrical product defects
* Utilize a metric-based approach to drive product yield and affordability improvements across product lines
* Leading/Supporting transition to production of new products
* Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple sites and states to ensure on time deliveries of quality products to support the War Fighter.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • BSEE from a 4 year accredited school.
  • 10+ years experience in HW Engineering with a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary engineering teams through the full product lifecycle (from proposal and design through production and sustainment).
  • Demonstrated experience as a direct line people manager with a proven ability to provide daily direction, mentorship, and professional development for junior electrical engineers.
  • Strong track record of driving discrete tasks to closure and "owning the design" while managing deadlines and deliverables.
  • Experience interfacing with Operations, Quality, and Program Management across multiple sites and states to drive root-cause defect resolution.
  • Ability to present complex technical information clearly to internal program teams and external customers.
  • Advanced ability to apply electrical engineering principles to solve complex problems involving high-speed digital and RF products.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in developing test methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve throughput.
  • Proficient in analyzing test data to identify trends and execute yield improvement plans.
  • Expertise in generating and reviewing engineering specifications, drawings, reports, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex electronic systems, modules, and sub-assemblies in a production environment.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • MSEE preferred
  • Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Exposure to microwave electronics a plus
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certified


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
