InDev is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst preparing to transition into a Deputy Project Manager role. This professional combines a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes with technical fluency to translate operational needs into actionable requirements and implementation plans. Serving as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, they support solution delivery, stakeholder communication, risk and issue management, project planning, team coordination, and delivery oversight while developing the leadership capabilities needed to deputize for the Project Manager.


This position is intended for a high-performing Senior Business Analyst who is ready to broaden their accountability beyond analysis and assume progressively greater ownership of project delivery. With demonstrated success, the individual will have the opportunity to transition into a Deputy Project Manager role and serve as a reliable extension of the Project Manager across planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder leadership.

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Lead discovery, requirements elicitation, process analysis, and solution-definition activities across complex initiatives.

  • Translate business objectives and identify operational challenges into clear business needs and detailed requirements and trackable success metrics.

  • Document current-state and future-state processes, business rules, functional requirements, data needs, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.

  • Create and document functional test cases to verify functionality delivered meets business needs.

  • Execute functional tests and document results with traceability.

  • Evaluate proposed solutions for business fit, feasibility, operational impact, scalability, and alignment with project objectives.

  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business leaders, subject-matter experts, product owners, architects, developers, testers, and operational teams.

  • Maintain requirements traceability and support backlog refinement, solution design, testing, deployment readiness, and post-implementation review.

  • Identify process-improvement opportunities and recommend practical changes to workflows, controls, systems, and operating procedures.

  • Support project planning, scheduling, dependency management, resource coordination, status reporting, and milestone tracking.

  • Monitor risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions; coordinate follow-up actions and escalate concerns when appropriate.

  • Prepare clear communications, executive briefings, and decision materials for project leadership and stakeholders.

  • Act on behalf of the Project Manager when delegated, helping maintain delivery momentum, team alignment, and stakeholder confidence.




QUALIFICATIONS


  • U.S. Citizen; Active DHS clearance or Top-Secret Clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or other related discipline.

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in business analysis, process improvement, requirements management, or technology-enabled transformation.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business processes and convert stakeholder needs into well-structured requirements and delivery plans.

  • Working knowledge of the software or systems delivery lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

  • Experience collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders in a cross-functional project environment.

  • Strong facilitation, written communication, presentation, problem-solving, and decision-support skills.

  • Experience supporting project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, status reporting, and governance activities.

  • Proficiency in tools including Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.




NICE TO HAVES


  • Experience serving as a workstream lead, project lead, Scrum Master, product owner, or deputy to a Project Manager.

  • Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, and traditional project delivery methods.

  • Proficiency with requirements, process-mapping, collaboration, reporting, or project-management tools.

  • Relevant business analysis, Agile, process improvement, or project management certification.




Clearance: U.S. Citizen; Active DHS clearance or Top Secret Clearance.
