Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team in Soto Cano, Honduras.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise server hardware, operating systems, and virtualized infrastructure.
- Managing user accounts, system permissions, active directory structures, and group policies across mission networks.
- Performing routine system maintenance, vulnerability patching, software upgrades, and diagnostic evaluations to ensure baseline security compliance.
- Monitoring system performance, storage availability, and network services to proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Collaborating with cross-functional technical teams, network engineers, and site leadership to maintain high system availability.
- Maintaining accurate configuration management records, technical system documentation, and operational baseline inventories.
- Recommending and implementing continuous process improvements to streamline IT administration and enterprise system efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED with 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration.
- OR a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience
- OR an associate's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience administering Windows and Linux server operating systems, Active Directory, and virtualized enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with system patch management, baseline configuration management, and server hardware maintenance.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, network services, and system access issues.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation and system baselines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
- Direct experience supporting U.S. Military Command operations, Joint Task Force environments, or OCONUS Department of Defense deployments.
- Familiarity with DoD STIG implementation, vulnerability scanning tools, and secure baseline auditing procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams in dynamic, fast-paced operational settings.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must hold a current/active TS/SCI security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
