Location: Huntsville, AL (Onsite)

You'll work within an Agile development environment alongside highly skilled engineers, researchers, and government stakeholders to create innovative software solutions that protect our nation's warfighters.
What You'll Do
As a Software Engineer, you'll participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems
Develop high-performance software supporting air and missile defense capabilities
Build and optimize applications running in Linux environments
Create and maintain containerized solutions using Docker and Podman
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and code reviews
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
Collaborate with engineers, users, customers, and leadership to define technical solutions
Develop software for distributed and networked systems
Generate technical documentation, briefings, and engineering reports
Support deployment and sustainment of operational systems
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in:
Computer Science
Software Engineering
Computer Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Systems Engineering
Mathematics
Physics
Aerospace Engineering
Information Technology
Or related STEM discipline
AND
Minimum 2 years of software development experience (Master's degree may substitute for experience)
Strong programming background in:
C++
Java
Or other object-oriented languages
Experience developing software within Linux environments
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
