Apex Systems is currently hiring for a LabVIEW Software Engineer with a leading aerospace and defense organization. This role supports a U.S. Air Force modernization effort focused on automated test systems used to sustain mission-critical aircraft components.
Project Details / Mission Supported:
• Support a U.S. Air Force program as part of the Software Development & Integration Team.
• Migrate legacy Test Program Sets (TPS) and LabVIEW-based test functionality into a modern .NET 9.0 framework using C# and framework APIs.
• Work hands-on in a lab environment to integrate, troubleshoot, and validate automated test software and equipment supporting U.S. Air Force fleet sustainment.
Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
• 3+ years of professional software development experience using C#, C++, Java, or a similar object-oriented programming language
• Knowledge of NI LabVIEW through professional experience, technical training, coursework, academic projects, or engineering laboratory environments
• Experience with software integration, hardware integration, test automation, systems testing, or engineering development efforts
• Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot electrical or electronic schematics
• Experience debugging software and resolving integration issues involving hardware, test equipment, or Units Under Test (UUT)
• Familiarity with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), Test Program Sets (TPS), National Instruments products, data acquisition systems, or other automated testing platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field

Onsite expectation: 100% onsite
Salary/Pay range: $45.00/hr-$55.00/hr
