Job Description

This role strengthens organizational consistency by helping analyze workflows, document processes, improve standards, and support engineering and mission teams with structured, repeatable methods.

Responsibilities
-Process Evaluation & Improvement
-Support evaluation of existing and proposed engineering and mission workflows.
-Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
-Assist senior engineers in developing and refining enterprise‑wide process frameworks.

Process Documentation
-Document workflows, procedures, templates, and standards in clear, consistent formats.
-Maintain process documentation within enterprise tools such as Confluence and Jira.
-Ensure updates are accurate, traceable, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Requirements Intake & Tracking
-Support the requirements “Front Door” process, including structured request intake, triage, coordination, and tracking.
-Maintain documentation and traceability of requirements and process changes.

Collaboration & Mission Support
-Participate in engineering discussions, working groups, and mission meetings.
-Assist in preparing process maps, diagrams, reports, and decision-support materials.
-Help translate complex engineering or process considerations into clear, usable information for stakeholders.

Analysis & Reporting
-Perform qualitative analysis of mission, process, and technical documentation.
-Help identify risks, dependencies, and impacts associated with process or workflow changes.
-Support development of briefings, documentation, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.

Desired Experience
-Process engineering or process‑improvement experience
-Requirements workflow documentation and analysis
-Systems engineering fundamentals
-Experience with Confluence, Jira, Git, or comparable tools
-SOP development, workflow mapping, and process rollout
-Familiarity with DoDAF, CONOPS, requirements analysis, or mission‑oriented technical documentation
-Experience in IC or DoD environments (preferred)

Communication & Professional Skills
-Ability to translate complex workflows into clear, actionable documentation.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Comfortable working with systems engineers, program staff, and Government stakeholders.

-Final compensation may vary based on assigned labor category, applicable contract rates, relevant experience, specialized skills, education, certifications, work location, and specific contract requirements.
